Electronic Communications and E-Sign Consent
Please read this before you agree to receive records and sign electronically with ANSSPVT LLC d/b/a Send My Demand Co. ("Send My Demand," "we," "us," or "our"). It is given to you under the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN Act) and similar state laws.
1. What you are agreeing to
By ticking the box that says you consent, you agree that we, and the independent attorney on an Attorney Letter, may provide records to you electronically, and that you may sign electronically.
Records include:
- these Terms and our policies;
- your attorney agreement and its fully signed copy;
- documents sent to you for review and signature;
- your letters;
- receipts and payment notices;
- notices about your case; and
- other communications about your orders.
Electronic signatures include: typing your name or drawing your signature in our portal, ticking confirmation boxes, and clicking buttons such as "Sign agreement" or "Approve and sign". Your electronic signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature.
2. Scope
This consent applies to:
- the transaction in which you give it; and
- the categories of records listed above for all your orders and cases with us, for as long as you have an account,
until you withdraw it.
3. How we deliver records
We deliver records in your Send My Demand account, as web pages and PDF files, and by email to the address in your account. We record when you sign and keep a copy of each signed record.
4. What you need
You need:
- a device with an internet connection;
- an up-to-date web browser (a current version of Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox) with cookies enabled;
- a valid email address you can access;
- a program that opens PDF files (most browsers can); and
- enough storage space to save records, or a printer to print them.
By consenting electronically in our portal, you confirm that you can open and read records in these formats.
If these requirements change in a way that could stop you from opening or keeping records, we will tell you, and you may withdraw consent without any fee.
5. Paper copies
You may ask for a paper copy of any record we have provided electronically, at no charge. Email letter@sendmydemand.com, or write to us at the address below. You can also download and print any record from your account at any time.
6. Withdrawing consent
You may withdraw your consent at any time, free of charge, by emailing letter@sendmydemand.com.
- Withdrawal takes effect within a reasonable time after we receive it.
- It does not affect the validity of records you received, or documents you signed, before then.
- Our service is provided online, so if you withdraw consent we may be unable to continue an order that needs electronic signatures or records. If that happens, we will tell you, complete what we can on paper where reasonable, and handle any refund under our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
7. Keeping your contact details up to date
You must keep your email address current. To change it, contact letter@sendmydemand.com. You can update your name and country in Account in the portal.
